I can juggle with 3 balls but only for a few seconds at most before the balls start to fly off.

I've noticed that after the first couple of tosses, the balls roll towards the tips of my fingers and get a big spin on them as they go into the air.

Is this proper? Or do I need to work on making sure the balls do not have spin on them?

I can juggle 3 of either balls, clubs, rings, or just about any 3 objects that have a relatively good heft to them and aren't too oddly sized/shaped.

You should learn using bean-bags instead of balls, IMO. It will help you make tosses that don't roll off your fingertips like you described.

While it isn't critical that the balls lack spin, it's not something you should be trying to do with your tosses. All you want to do is hit an invisible point in front and above your opposite shoulder with the peak of your toss's arc, and the arc should be steep enough that the ball descends directly into your opposite hand.

Also it helps to practice whilst standing beside a bed or a table so that when your balls drop you don't have to bend all the way over to the ground to pick them up. It's another benefit of bean-bags that they do not roll away once you lose control of them.

Sorry, I meant to say that I was using bean bags.
