A) Better to workout at night or in the morning?

B) Heard of City Blends meal replacement shakes? My gym offers them. Do they have steroids or anything like that? Or are they a safe way of replacing a meal...

A) Whenever is good as long as you go regularly.

b) Yer on your own there but I'm pretty sure there are no roids in their milkshakes unless their milkshakes are better than... oh nevermind, lol

I do. I workout after work at like 6:30pm. I have tried doing it in the morning but I have more energy in the evening after I've been up all day.

I just do normal protein shakes that you make out of protein powder to get more protein, but I've never really used any meal replacement type deals.

Workout when you can. Time of day really doesn't matter all that much.

Meal replacement shakes are ok when used now and then but nothing replaces real nutritious food.

a.) Go off peak hours, you'll be able to use most, if not all, of the machines you want when you want, and your workout won't take as long
(I do all my workouts in the morning, finish it before the day begins, and I do get enough energy to do what I need to do. Its just a matter of what you're used to. I typically work out at 7am, but if I had a chance, I'd probably work out at 5am or 6am. My Gym is at my university and I commute there.)

b.) never herad of it.

I'd steer clear of meal replacement shakes, they're expensive and useless IMO. Eating a well balanced diet will get you further than the shakes. Try eating healthy and small multiple meals during the day and if you're wanting to build mass get some soy protein powder and make yourself a shake before you exercise. Also can try multi vitamins as well.
