Anyone here gettin GT3 when it comes out?

That game alone makes me want to buy a PS2. I just got Gran Turismo 2 to play on my Dreamcast with Bleem, and I'm loving it.

Yes I will be getting GT3 aspec. I love car racing games.

I was about to go out and buy a PS2 in preparation for GT3. Then I heard about the GT3 PS2 pack and decided to hold off. Finally, my friend told me he was getting it and since I live so close to him and won't be able to play the game much during the school year, I decided to not buy a PS2 at all. Instead I'll just play the game at his place, and maybe get the Gamecube in the future. PS2 is hard as hell to develop for I heard, so I don't know if the producers going to stay on...

I have my GT2 game at 93.xx% completion. I just picked up a PS2 the other day and will be getting GT3 ASAP. If I can get enough of the game completed I will probably take the PS2 back though Wal-Mart RULES.


BTW -
I normally wouldn't use something for 90 days and then return it, but I can't really justify spending about $400 to play GT3 ONLY. I have a PC for games.

I've had mine on pre-order for quite sometime from Amazon.. then I just notice on their webpage that they're getting them on the 13th.. an extra 3 days.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I'll be picking up GT3 for sure. dcdomain, I wouldn't worry about
the PS2's future since it has truckloads of strong titles coming out this
fall as well as very strong marketshare. Many developers may want
to develop for the GC or XBox, but their publishers (who ultimately pay
for these games and therefore make console decisions) will keep them
working on the PS2 since it's the top dog and will most likely remain so.
