Supposedly RR Premium is now 8mbit and 512up. Still a crappy up but the down works! I don't have this myself, I read about it at dslreports.

I live in NJ and I did notice a speed difference yesterday. I didn't test the line though.

Yep, I'm in Manhattan and they upped us to 5Mb/384Kb permanently. Verizon has been running non-stop commercials about how you can get the same speeds for $15 cheaper a month and a free router/cable modem. I guess RR figured they had to do something. Thanks Verizon!

BTW, I've got a friend here who's got Optimum Online. She gets 10Mb/1Mb for the same price I do. I wish I could get in on that.

I only get about 350Kb/sec here and pay $60/month. How are you guys getting such fast speeds? Also how much do you pay for RR?

Not to mention OO has unbelievable ping times.

I'm still plenty happy with RR though. I'd never go back to Hellrizon after the way they treated me when I had their service.
