Yep, I'm in Manhattan and they upped us to 5Mb/384Kb permanently. Verizon has been running non-stop commercials about how you can get the same speeds for $15 cheaper a month and a free router/cable modem. I guess RR figured they had to do something. Thanks Verizon!

BTW, I've got a friend here who's got Optimum Online. She gets 10Mb/1Mb for the same price I do. I wish I could get in on that.

Not to mention OO has unbelievable ping times.

I'm still plenty happy with RR though. I'd never go back to Hellrizon after the way they treated me when I had their service.
