don't waste your time trying to go to music row -- nothing to see there but a bunch of sterile buildings. cant' say i'm entirely thrilled with the city, so i don't really know what would be all that exciting. go downtown any night of the week and walk the broadway/2nd ave area. lots of country music history, if you're into that. try to catch a tour of the ryman (former home of the grand ole opry). not a whole lot going on at opryland itself except for a mall and a golf couse. maybe go down to the parthenon and take a look -- it's a replica left over from a world's fair many years ago. one thing i can certainly say for nashville is that we've got a ton of good restaurants. go down to the hillsboro village area, have a coffee at fido, walk around the stores in the area, have a beer at jackson's on the patio, grab dinner at sunset grill...
oh, and if you're into good songs, try and catch a show at the bluebird.
other than that, what exactly are you looking to do here?
