Sometimes it only takes like a minute or two...but then after that it takes a while longer.

So I guess I'm fast, but not all the time

the body will learn how to use as little as nutrients it has when you fast, it'll improve your health....

just fasting a few days a month will do this

Let's see. Fast and throw your blood sugar all out of whack along with your metabolism. Your body will start tearing itself down. You will have no energy and will most likely lower your immune system's capabilities.

If you want to 'cleanse' your system, eat a lot of fruit and chase it with some Ex Lax! Lower the red meat in your diet and pick up the fiber, fruit, veggies and you'll be much better off!

wait, weren't you the same guy who thought doctors are just whores bought out by drug companies and all they're after is money, not healing people? and now you think that once every couple of weeks, it's ok to just not eat for a day?

The "official" medical viewpoint . . . since when did they (ever) have a clue (about nutrition)? 😛

Do some research before you fast . . . PreventionMagazine might be a good place to start. It CAN have benefits. In the beginning, keep the fast short (a day). Drink lots of water duriing the fast.

There are many types of "fasts" . . .
