Anyone here familiar with Django Reinhardt?

After lots of consideration I think the might be the most talented ever... especially considering the fact that he could play those jazz solos with 2 fingers.

Anyone have an opinion about him?

great stuff. my brother loves him and built an acoustic guitar very similar to what django played, and its an awesome piece of work, and it sounds beautiful (and loud!)

Guy is unbelievable. I love these types of guitarists who (almost) no one has heard of and who are just incredible. Another one that comes to mind is Tommy Emmanuel and Chet Atkins. I can't believe how many people haven't heard of these two guys.

I was born on Django's birthday

He was definately a special talent and died too young :brokenheart: I think it was odd how he refused to travel/bring his guitar to shows considering his disability and frentic, legato playing style. Very influential player, and definately lived a colorful lifestyle for back in the day.
