I'm kind of looking around for some part time work and I was wondering if these places hire part time IT workers, drivers, package handlers, etc. Also do what do they normall pay, do they provide insurance and benefits, etc..?

from what i hear, its quite a good job as a package handler at UPS. Good way to loose weight and get into shape 🙂

I'm going to disagree. Its very very hot in those warehouses. I have 2 friends working there(one is an industrial engineer, the other IT) and they both hate the mangement. Very politcal. One guy works in Flint, Mi and last year 4 people died in the distribution center: 1 from falling into the conveyor belt system, 2 were crushed to death by boxes, and a truck driver who was backing up hit his head on another truck.
