Anyone here ever try to exchange a cpu at Frys?

I think I fried a CPU so I was gonna try to exchange it at Frys.
Have you guys had any positive or negative experiences?

If you fried it, that's your fault. You shouldn't exchange it because you fried it.

they'll take it back as long as it's the same CPU..

They took it back I had a cool CSR.

As long as you're within your warranty time, and have the receipt...and sometimes they get anal about having the original box too, but not always. I've taken back cpu's, ram, sound cards, video cards, you name it. I spend more time at Fry's than their manager.
