i've never had one, but my grandfather has. puts some nitro under his tongue and he's good to go.

last i knew he did nitroglycerin. he does an aspirin/day dealio, but he hasn't had a heart attack so hasn't tried aspirin for that.

ASA is recommended for unstable angina or MI. It is usually given by EMS or on arrival in the ER.
