Anyone here ever had to RMA a NEC/Mitsubishi monitor to NEC/Mitsubishi?

Hi, my monitor has started to produce an awful high pitch squeal when I turn it on and today it started turning on and off by itself, even when the video signal cable is disconnected :Q. Anyways, I was just wanting to know if anyone had any experiences. I know for the standard service they can send a refurbished monitor, but what about the advanced replacement? Can they still send a refurbished monitor then? Thanks in advance


BTW: this monitor is a 930SB-BK and is only 9 months old. Originally purchased from Newegg :(

Yes I ahve i am on my 9th MRA with them, They have horrible QA. I am just not another idiot who will take a monitor that is not perfect. They think that I am crazy but i dont care.


Yes you will get a refurbished and there is no way around that uless they dont have anymore

I had to RMA my NEC LCD monitor because of dead pixels. They were very helpful and the process went very smooth. I had the new monitor within days and they paid for the return shipping. I cant speak for everyone but my experience with them was very good.

You have the option to have the monitor you presently have repaired or to have a refurb sent back. If you like your present one I would opt to have it repaired and not get a refurb.
