Anyone here ever change the small side window of a car?

Do I have to buy new molding or can I use the old one? Also, is it difficult to change? The car is about three years old. It is a shape of a triangle and I was just wondering to do it myself or send it out. A used piece of glass from a auto recycling yard cost $30 vs. $110 for a brand new one.

Thanks for reading!

go to an auto window place and buy everything you need. They will know and possibly tell you how to do it as well.

Lucky it was that one instead of another. Its usually the cheapest by far to change. Even better on an emergency lockout situation to break that one and reach in to unlock the rear door if possible.

Find a junk yard that'll let you in the yard to get your own parts. You'll learn how to do the r&r on the junker.
