anyone here ever bought ebooks from online sites?

So to make my internship less boring, I am thinking of purchasing ebooks so I can read it on my computer..

anyone here ever purchased ebooks from sites like amazon?? whats the format?? can you print em to paper? can you copy it and open it at another computer? I am asking this coz it will be stupid if I can only open it at my work computer..

is the format easily readable? share ur thoughts please

I have never bought an ebook but I have pondered it before.

The books I have bought that come in ebook are always the same price as the print book. I think that is ridiculous. $50 for either paper or software. Anyway, never bought one because of that, I just stuck with the printed copy. As far as their format, I'd assume it was either MS Ebook or DRM Adobe Acrobat. So I think you would be safe buying one since both readers are free.
