Anyone here ever bought a TV knowing they will return it?

One of my cousin's friends one time in college bought a big screen HDTV , the biggest and most expensive so he could watch the super bowl or something, and then went back and returned it, argued to them and they covered shipping back too! Obviously, getting shipping there would have been very easy for the store's best TV

I call BS. Most, if not all, stores have a "Super Bowl TV return policy." If a TV was bought within 2 weeks of the Super Bowl, we will not return it. If we do, they are getting at least a 25% restocking fee. Everyone does this.
