Go to someone who knows what they are doing. If you do it then it will show that you did it.

Have you actually tried it?

Besides, if I f*ck up, what the worst thing that could happen? I gotta take off the $15 in tint I spent and take it to a shop?

DO NOT do your own tint using that crap from Walmart. In order to get a good, long-lasting tint job, you need to first use some good quality tint (Lumar is one brand name.) That crap at Walmart will turn purple in 6 months, probably bubble, and is thinner (more likely to chip/scratch if you hit it with something.) And if you don't want to spend all day trimming, fighting bubbles, cursing, etc, it's WELL worth it to have someone else do it for you.

My parents had their car done by this guy like a year ago and there are no bubbles.

1) If you are patient, you can do it yourself

However

2) It's worth paying someone to do it, they'll do it in 1/8 the time and it will look good if they are a professional

It should cost anywhere from $120-220 to do 4 side windows and the back.

I've done my own before, but after you pay $25 for some decent tint, then $10 for misc tools, then it takes you all freaking day, and you have to redo at least one window, it's just not worth it.

To do it right you'll need to buy the proper tools

The tools will come close to how it is to get it installed, if you're still interested, I might know someone who could help you out, let me know
