Anyone here do any reloading of ammunition (rifle or handgun)

What type press do you use? What caliber do you reload? Where is the best place to pick up supplies?

Thanks,
KK

I have in the past. Don't remember much to give you any pointers though. It's fun!

My dad and I reloaded 12 guage shells for trap shooting. I hope to start again soon. It's good quality time.

I don't but I have a BUNCH of 9MM slugs to sell if anyone want's them.

Like a idiot I though I was bidding on rounds and it turned out to be JUST the slugs.

Hollow point and regular 9MM....

Around here, BiMart has most verythin you need, except the brass.

Lol, that must have sucked, but I hope you got a good price for them.

I've reloaded 12 gauge shells before but never rifle or handgun. So I don't know a whole lot about the different makes, dillon, RCBS, Lee, Hornady.

Depends on how much you reload, and how much you are willing to spend... if you want to load quite a bit, I would go with a Dillon progressive, like the 550B..... if casual, something like a RCBS Rockchucker.....

The RCBS has that new rockchucker supreme that runs about 100. It seemed to get good reviews at midwayusa. What all accessories would be required to go along with the press. I know you need the dies, powder, primers, and bullets. What else is there?

Lee is your good all-around press. They are really the best for the money. I have a lee O press and a hand press, to tell the truth, I use the hand press a lot more, actually almost all the time, it's really convenient. get a plier-type auto-primer, it's easier on the hands.

you can start off on handgun rounds, get a set of carbide dies and forget about the lubrication business. go with .38 or .357 if you shoot revolver, straight wall, easiest of the bunch.

rifles, unless you are only sizing the neck, will need the lubricant, what kind is up to you. I prefer the lee dies which only size the neck as I tend to shoot one gun extensively and don't need to full size the case to fit a general chamber profile. as a bonus, you need no lubricant with neck-sizing dies from Lee.

I haven't really saved any money by reloading, but it's a nice way to spend an afternoon that would have been wasted anyway.
