Can you swing by the seller's place to check it out before purchasing?

Unless the seller has EXCEPTIONAL feedback, I wouldn't even think about purchasing a high-priced item from eBay.
 
Actually there are quite a few cars sold on ebay everyday, and they make up the largest $$ spent on the site.

Most of the cars I'm looking at are from third party dealers, some are even from Mercedes dealers who posted on the internet. I cannot swing by most of them because a lot are in Boston/E. coast.

But i figure it will still be under warranty + carfax + fact that it is a dealer... safe i hope??

I won't purchase from anyone who doesn't have at least good feedback.
