I've got a bit of a simple problem, but it's one that I've already spent an hour and a half trying to solve.

I'm trying to make an arch with the following specifications - it's 7" from end to end, 4" tall, 1/8" thick, 1/3" wide at the ends, and 1" wide in the middle. I've also made a picture of my failed attempt at rendering it:

Can anyone tell me how to produce one of these?
 
I'm fairly decent at SU.

I may have some plugins back at the office that can do a variable arch like that. Unfortunately, I can't check until tomorrow morning.
