Anyone heard of this DVD GPS system?

A friend of mine was telling me about this GPS system for the car that is DVD based. He couldn't give me more details. And it allows you to remove the DVD to use actual movie DVD's, and also play mp3's/CD's in it. The Head Unit has an LCD that pops out when in use, and goes back in when you're done. Does it exist?

I don't know where to search for this really. I did look through Crutchfield, but don't think any of those were it.

I have no problem searching for it, but does anyone know where to begin such a search?

And let me go ahead and put in the obligatory ATOT Smart a$$ remark:
Google is your friend.

This is sort of a hard thing to Google....although I'm sure someone is going to prove me wrong in about two posts! But yeah, any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like something from Clarion or Alpine.

You might check Eclipse as well.

That's exactly what I was looking for. For some reason, I thought my friend said Panasonic, but I guess it was Pioneer.
