Anyone heard of the brand TEVION? I saw a Tevion DVD/VCR combo...

Someone told me that TEVIONs were rebranded electronics.

Do you know anything about them.

All the 'net searches I did came up with German sites.

Never heard of them. I've seen other brand DVD/VCR combos though. Even a TV/DVD/VCR combo.

My Dad's got a Tevion DVD player. I think it's a German company (hence the German sites you found). If it's rebranded, I'm not sure from what.

The player my Dad has seems to do the job. It doesn't play the VCDs or SVCDs like the one I've got, but he seemed fairly pleased with it.

By the way, my Dad got this player from Aldis, so it is a cheap player. I would expect this thing to play DVDs and VHS, but don't expect too much from it feature wise.
