For some reason, everytime I open my browswer now, it goes to searchexe.com, instead of my usual Google. I would resent the default page in Tools, but after a few days, it would go back to that stupid page. And, I get a stupid little "tool bar/navigation bar" at the bottom of my browser. What the heck is this, and how can I get rid of it?

Thanks in advance,

Cathy :)

its mentioned in the link werk posted. CWS is basically a Cool Web Search variant. they are a fairly tenacious group that puts out browser hijackers. For more info, click here

It also usually helps to run a search on google if you can whenever you get an annoying case of spyware. searching for searchexe.com as you will most likely find some specific answers by doing so

Hope that helps
