Last night I went to see Mustard Plug, and they had two bands opening for them. The Van Ermans which, IMO, sucked, and then Ruth's Hat. They rocked, and I must say I thought their performance was better than Mustard Plug.
These guys seem like a cross between a barbershop quartet and a punk band. Their music has been called bubblegum punk, pop-rock-n-roll, adolescent pop-punk, 1950s rock delivered in a punk fashion, etc.
Check 'em out.
