Anyone heard of NEC PC 100 RAM?

It's Athlon approved, and I'd like to buy it because it comes from the same vendor that sells some of the lowest cost chips. I'm going to overclock, BTW. Does just the fact that it's AThlon approved make it good enough?

It's probably VERY expensive generic ram they sell to people with their systems because they think they need proprietary memory.

Not always very expensive, it'll be the same as other good generics sometimes. They just make the chips, an OEM puts them in a PCB... I'd get them.
