snow (hi! ), I don't think these are new bands. The Cure, Joy Division and Depeche Mode are English bands from the 80's...not sure about the others..

The Cure and Depeche Mode were around in the 80's. Don't really remember there stuff though. Kind of new wave if I recall.

I listened to all that stuff back in the day. I've got one friend from high school who is still into it and even dresses up with his wife to go out to goth clubs in LA.

Since i am in college i listen to all the great 80's music. Plus i grew up on english music. My father would play The Who and Pete Townshend all the time. Now whats his face stole (and did a bad job with) My Genration and Pinball Wizard. For Shame.
