Anyone heard of chelation therapy?

OK that first link was quackery....chelation is all we have sometimes with heavy metal poisoning...against heart disease it IS bullcrap...

I'm kind of under the impression that exercise and good diet are probably more beneficial than ANY other means.

Pretty much. Certain statins are great for helping prevent buildup of plaque and certain ones can actually over time (>1 year) start to remove around 10-15% of plaque...which is HUGELY significant however, exercise, diet, maintaining good mental/physical/emotional health and keeping stress low all are MUCH better at keeping your heart in good shape.
