Yeah that's important. UCLA doesn't have a McDonalds for at least 2 miles. Trust me, it does become an issue :)
LMU is a Catholic school isn't it?

LMU is in Westchester, adjacent to LAX. It is a nice campus, pretty small. I don't know about academics, but it is a Catholic university.

Croton,

The one on Wilshire is too far for you? (I'd put a smiley if they weren't lame)

On the flip side however, they're building a Krispy Kreme in the Coop so that's good.

I know a lot of people that have gone there, and they all liked the school. It is a pretty nice campus looking over much of the city and the atmosphere is really nice. I have a friend who is currently attending law school there, and he says he made the right choice. I too have taken classes there in the summers when i was still in school, and I found it to be a rather nice campus.

there's an in-an-out less than 2 miles away from LMU, a mcdonalds, burger king and cpk down the hill...

lmu's a good school -- but it depends w/c courses you want to take. i know. i graduated there. it is a catholic school, and theology and philosophy are required courses (you need to take two of each -- upper and lower div.) the good thing is, they don't just teach catholic theology, but other info on other religions as well. it's not a purely catholic school. only 80% i think are catholic -- the rest are either jewish, muslim, christian, or atheists.

bottom line, it really depends on what you want to take... oh yeah, they have a great women's lacrosse team ;)

L M... U Know..

The LMU undergraduate is on a seperate campus from the LMU law school.

Oh yeah, its all about the Dub Cee baby! Whittier College!

One of my bro's friends goes to LMU, and they overbooked on housing. So, they put around 300 students in a hotel (didn't tell them until 2 days before they were to move in). Now you're saying its nice and all, but try living on dialup for a year.

Their basketball team sucked last year. I think they won like one game or something.

Harvey, that link says overlooking Marina Del Rey. I'm from El Segundo, I used to go to LMU library to look stuff up for my high school projects. It may not be in Westchester perse(sp??), but you gotta drive through Westchester to get to the school, at least from the south. As far as I know, it's Westchester and Playa Del Rey surrounding it. You've got 'chester on one side, then the bluff on the other overlooking the wetlands. Can't really tell you what's to the east of campus, I never went over there :)

late.

Yep. And also Bo Kimble.

And you're asking, "Who's he?"

Got drafted by the Clippers. Nuff said.
