Anyone heard of a bluetooth problem like this? (cell phone related)

My new RIZR arrived yesterday and its been fantastic, except one issue, bluetooth. I've tried two bluetooth headsets on it, and while I can hear other parties just fine, my voice comes out all garbled to the other party. I recorded myself with each headset and sure enough, I sound pretty bad.

Jawbone - Crackly, ranges from medium to bad.
Jabra BT350 - HORRIBLE, can't even make out my words.

Keep in mind, the phone is roughly 8-10 inches from the headset sitting on a desk, no obstructions.

Possible problem with the phone?

Perhaps try disabling and re-enabling bluetooth function?

I have a known bluetooth connection issue on my Nokia 8801 as well, where the connection would randomly slow down, or worse, completely fail and disconnect during data transfer.

Tried resetting the BT, resetting the phone, no luck...
