I work at EB and here's the deal:
Nintendo offers a free game with the purchase of a new GameCube, any color excluding the Mario Sunshine Bundle. The games are the GameBoy Player, Zelda:WW, Star Fox Adventures, Mario Party 4, or Metroid Prime.
To qualify for the bundle, you must purchase a Hip Gear 59 block memory card on the same transaction. It's $11.99.
Then, you get your choice of Driven, NFL2k3, Blood Rayne, or Wave Race.
There is also a $30 mail-in gift voucher available when you purchase a new GameCube, a $19.99 accessory, and a $29.99 game. Some stores allow you to take a 251 block memory card by Mad Catz ($19.99) or Nintendo ($24.99) in place of the Hip Gear card, to allow you to qualify for the rebate. This is YMMV, as it's not exactly in line with the wording of the promotions, but if you can get away with it, it's all at the risk of the employee.
Notice that the rebate requires a seperate game, not one of the two free ones. In essence, you would end up with a GameCube, one $50 game, one $30 game, one $10 game, a 251 block memory card, and a $30 gift voucher in 8-10 weeks. All for $180-$200. The $180 being if you can get the larger memory card in place of the smaller one. $200 if not. Pretty hot IMO either way.
If you're going to do this, do it quickly. Nintendo promos end 8/2/03. After that date, only valid promotion left is the free Nintendo game with the GameCube (GB Player, Zelda, Metroid, Mario Party, Star Fox Adventures)
