Anyone having UD problems?

Yeah, I haven't been able to connect for almost two days now. UD has recognized they have a problem and are working on it. They haven't said when it's going to be fixed though.

Yeah.. this is getting really frustrating. here's there update.
Dear members,

The service disruption persists due to a database corruption problem. We are in the process of restoring the core grid database from a large number of very sizable sequential log files.

The restore process has stalled twice due to corrupted log files at the end of the log file sequence. We are working diligently to resolve this problem.

Updates will follow...

Thanks for your patience and continued participation,
Jonathon

I'm starting to get annoyed by this too. It seems like they'd have a bit more success restoring the database. I'm not a fan of letting my computers sit idle for so long.

Well, EVERY, and I mean EVERY, one of my UD installations popped up with the registration screen as if it was a new install. I'm talking every pc running it in two different companies in two different parts of the state. If this is happening to everyone I'm feeling sorry for the ppl with hunrdreds of installs out there.

If you try to register the machine using its existing handle, Grid will let you. but if you try to update the connection speed or any other part of that devices account, it won't let you saying that the name already exists. At that point all you can do is uninstall/reinstall with a diff device name.

Also, there's nothing on the grid forums about this yet.

I have the exact same problem. Luckily I've only got <10 devices running but it's still going to be annoying. I can't get my hands onto a couple of them for around a month which means they're going to just idle. This is frustrating.

edit: The grid.org forums has an update up now.
