Anyone having trouble with newegg.com?

I submitted an order on Friday afternoon. The entire order was split into two separate orders with merchandise coming from CA, NJ, and TN I think.

Up until earlier today both order numbers were listed in my "Recent Orders" list. I just went to check on their status and they have disappeared and they are not in "Order History" either. I have the confirmation e-mails and tried entering both "Sales Order" numbers into the dialogue and got the following:

"The sales order number you entered is invalid or doesn't exist."

WTF? Where did my orders go?

Newegg.com is slipping big time!

I guess they don't give a sh!t about orders totalling around $1K.

I'm having a problem with newegg when I want to pay with PayPal. I get taken to the PayPal site, click the pay button but the money is not taken from my account.

This is like the fourth time it has happened. This time I want to take advantage of PayPal's $15 off a $30 order so it has to happen.

Sounds like someone has software problems.

They did successfully charge my credit card of course!

If I still don't see the order at 12:00 PM EST tomorrow I will call and cancel and give my business to someone else who can complete an order.

They usually start rolling pretty early, but i would give them to at least 12pm PST. I know you're frustrated, but give them the benefit of the doubt...mabye they had a failure over the weekend or something.

nope...I ordered a westy monitor on Friday around lunch that had 3 day shipping...got the email yesteday with the UPS tracking number for it...

According to the UPS, it will be here on TUE...

my last order for a new Samsung dvd burner went smoothly as well. Was in my hands 3 days after ordering it...

How about you give them a business day and then a call to see what the issue is instead of freaking out. If there is a problem, they may even rush the order and give you upgraded delivery to cover the inconvenience.

Newegg has always rocked for me. Although I don't really like their new site layout.

Not a problem here, either. I've placed 4 orders in the last 6 days......all but the last, done today, shipped and will be here in the next day or two. Today's order, or actually yesterday's, should ship today and be in my hands no later than Wed.

But I don't think having a software glitch in one of their servers is an indication of Newegg not giving a sh!t.....more like they had a glitch and it'll be corrected later today.

Quit obsessing about your order status over the weekend. If it didn't ship Friday, it's not moving anywhere until Monday morning anyway. If it did ship, it still didn't move anywhere as UPS andFedEx rarely move stuff over weekends and even when they do, their tracking is rarely updated over the weekends......I've seen orders appear to sit or be "missing" during tracking over the weekend (left CA but hasn't been seen since Friday) and magically a host of tracking info appears on Monday afternoon.

Chill.

I know that a couple of weeks ago I ordered an eVGA 7900GS from them and the tracking number didn't come up. I waited a couple of days and they said that the order was in the system but that their accounting software didn't synch with the tracking software. Just go onto live chat and have them look into it. That's what I did.

Whoa, that's quite a hurry to get the order... Maybe they had some packages going out, and then the tracking numbers were changed for some reason? I have this issue often times when I'm ordering importing aquarium products, I wouldn't worry about it.

You ordered on a Friday, with most online stores you'd have to wait till this week before they even acknowledged the order.

Did you give them a call at all?

Newegg is a trust worthy company... I place an order with them and then check a few days later on the status, not the same day or following day. I don't have even a *SINGLE* recollection of an issue with them being discussed. When there is an issue and it's talked about, they solve it.

I once ordered two wrong cables - they refunded the price, plus shipping, and said to keep it and just order the right ones. Most stores that go out of their way will give a store credit or something, they did more than that by refunding the price to my CC.

They've been around for years and provide a quality service - if they don't get your shipping numbers up the same day anymore, let's forgive them?

I can only wonder why you would say that - you know they handle insane amounts of orders, probably in the thousands per day. What makes you think they can't complete an order? Show me one instance in their history that they messed up and didn't fix it.

Why do I care so much? This is like working retail almost, sometimes people just don't understand. I actually have a lot of respect for you, but some of the things you do leave me questioning if there's reasoning behind your choice.

As of this morning the site still doesn't have any history of my order.

It wouldn't disturb me so much if they hadn't already charged my credit card.

Eh I've had it happen before. The system temporarily goes down sometimes. You're really going to switch vendors just because of one isolated incident? If you think this is bad you clearly don't have much experience ordering!

My order was charged within 5 min, and shipped within hours. Standard three day shipping from back east and today it says out for delivery.

Three days exactly as quoted.

I just wish they would rethink their atrocious shipping fee policy. (Still only cost me nine bucks for five pounds and three days, but that was $4.50/ea for two $9 120mm fans, the other two items shipped free.) Imagine if I only wanted the fans, no way would I have picked them up from the egg with those shipping charges.

I placed two separate orders from them this past week. Both went through with out a problem and should be here Tuesday and Thursday. I think that there website is sucking and some other things they are doing blows, but the service I receive goes a long way to make it up.

my monitor arrived in Dallas around 8 pm and is on schedule for deliver tomorrow :)

the newegg site has been giving me error messages a few times today saying their servers are down, so I have had to look up the delivery status manually on the UPS site though...

Exact same thing happening to me. I placed an order on Friday payment via Paypal and when I logged into my paypal account today there was a newegg transaction. What gives?
