Anyone having trouble logging into WOW Servers?

the community forums were messed up too for a bit, but now are back up for viewing. No posts from Bliz though that I've seen. I guess we just wait...

This morning they took everything down for like 4 hours I guess. Looks to me like maybe they broke something...
 
The login server has problems, but I did manage to get in after 4-5 minutes at the authentication screen.

i'd prefer they just get the server up within 20 minutes so i can play wow since it's vacation time for me

i'm only 11 on my second character, how will i have three lvl 60's by the end of december at this rate =\
 
this is so freaking lame.

Thats it, this game is a joke. When its working, its fun as heck. When its not working, which seems to be much of the time, its frustrating as hell.

They take the servers down for 4 hours today in the middle of the day, prime gaming time, for what? They bounce the servers regularly every day (or were last time I checked)

The lag is unbearable and kicks you out sometimes.

Beta test what? I know this game was beta tested, stress tested, etc, but it appears to have done no good.

They are currently having simple login problems. Where's the clustered environment with mirrored disks. They say this is a login server problem, so wheel in another login server. Surely they have redundancy on this equipment. This is a BUSINESS people, run it as such.

Blizzard is such a joke.
 
in all honesty, this is the first problem i've had with blizzard's wow servers

i expirience great pings, usually around 28ms, i never have trouble logging in to servers, and their regular maintinance is at 4:00am-5:00am pacific, which i can tolerate since i know about.
I was in the Ob, and it was the worst expirience ever. I couldn't ping less than 100, I played on test30 on the human side, and i couldn't get decent pings worth crap. Live isn't perfect, but it's still better than retail imo.

*shrugs* they didn't take all the servers down i dont think, just one?

overall there are issues yes, but not enough to say blizzard is a joke, but that's just my expirience, i'm not trying to invalidate yours

on that note : i wish the servers were up....
 
well, the login server is no doubt getting wanged by about 130 thousand people trying to log in simotaneuosly so it will probably stay down a while. Oh and blizzard dosent care they know you will be back.
 
it is back indeed 🙁 good thing i got my fix in prior to it going down, but my friends couldn't get on.

I tried to tell people in game, all of them were dicks saying sh!t like "Oh noes! lets cancel our accounts0rs hax0rs" ungrateful jerks. I'm sure some logged off, didn't heed my warning, and then tried to relogin. Bawhahaha.
