Anyone having Steam problems 12/14?

I hopped on my computer to try to play a little dota2 or AC but steam is apparently not functioning for me 🙁. Steam says in settings "In good standing" as it should since I've never cheated or used hacked mods and stuff, but is unable to get connected.

I was just curious if anyone else is experiencing any problems?

No problems here. Maybe try shutting Steam down completely and restarting it.

Looking at their stats, I'd say it's Steam.

Chat's been off/on for several hours and I've heard grumblings about unable to play TF2 or Payday because of it.

Yup, I know my connection to Steam community/friends has been dropping off and on this afternoon, so it's probably Steam.

it's unscheduled, so it's some kind of bug related to recent steam updates.
