In the past two weeks, I've had 3 packages return to my inbox. One of them had no notification as to why, and my shipping label was ripped off the box. The other two, which were mailed at a later date, were returned to me intact with shipping labels still on them, but they had green stickers on them that claimed something to the tune of "New policy where must receive packages at local post office through a postal worker if package is over 1lb".
Now, this makes no sense...this effectively eliminates anyone who does carrier pickup, or who uses the automated postal centers after post office closing time if the packages are greater than 1lb. I typically use a carrier pickup if I have multiple stuff, or just use the APC later in the evening and drop it off in the drop bin if I only have a couple items. I work 9-5, so I can't go there during business hours.
Plus, I got an envelope from the PO in the mail with one of my shipping labels to a fourth package I mailed out some time ago, and they say it was damaged during transit and they will be returning it to me. I've gotten nothing back so far.
And, a fifth package I sent out seems to be MIA...the buyer of it sent me a PM earlier this weekend asking where it was. Now, I always package my stuff well and adhere to shipping rules, plus I always buy tracking/insurance for my packages...what the heck is going on?
