Anyone having Direct3d problems with Visiontek GTS-V card?

Anyone out there having problems running Direct3d with the Visiontek GTS-V card?

It runs decent with the 12.41 drivers from Nvidia but does not work with the latest nor the latest certified by Microsoft.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

What card/drivers did you have on this system before hand? Chances are that if you're having problems like that now, your previous drivers still lurk on your computer system in either a folder or in your registry. It is recommended that you completely remove them or do a fresh install of your OS.

BTW, I've used this card on several builds without any problems of any kind.

I had a geforce2mx (asus 7700) before this one.

i run norton utilties to check the registry. would this be enough to make sure that my registry is okay?

if i can't make this work, i guess i'll try doing a fresh install of the os as my last resort.
