Anyone having AOE3 problems

Simple question, I've got the 7800GT in my sig and i just bought AOE3....problem is when playing AOE3 in Act 3 of the single player campaign where you have to destroy Warwicks outposts around the treasure ships.....everytime I destroy the 3rd outpost about 30 seconds later my computer hardlocks and starts making a funky noise from the speakers....so i'm wondering if it's my 7800GT or maybe the drivers....but when I installed the 81.85's it still did this.....and even when I had it at the stock speeds of 400/1000....so yea, video card problem? driver problem??

It's not my ram or proc.....prime and memtest stable both of them...so yea??

It sounds like a bad install to me, but I could be mistaken. But if you're at a loss of what to do, I would reinstall. That would fix it unless that's not the problem, of course...
