Anyone having any trouble with there ATI Radeon 9700 pro

I run mine at 1280x1024 32 bit and every once and a while the resolution changes on it's own to 640x480 with 4 colors. Then a message displays card has malfunctioned please restart. After the restart it's like nothing happened at all and everything is back to normal.
 
Could be driver issues. You hope it isn't a hardware issue. Try uninstalling your drivers, and install the latest. Do you have DirectX 9 installed?
 
Yea Direct X 9 Catalyst 3.1 It hasn't happened yet since I upgraded to 3.1 but that was yesterday so I'll wait a few days to see if that happens.
