Anyone have XFX 6800 GT how is it ?

also what is the warranty like I can get this card for $599 canadian.. but want the bfg for the lifetime warranty.. just worried cause I have heard some of the new bfg gts are crap and faulty... but the bfg card is $699 canadian 🙂... trying to decide here

I've got the card. I like it and haven't had any problems with it. I have it overclocked to 400/1100. The reference cooler was a little noisy for me, so I slapped a NV Silencer 5 on it. I'm not sure if newer versions of the card have a different hsf.

If you go to NCIX.com, they are a very reputable and reliable canadian retailer. I bought over $2000 worth of parts off them. One time a Hdd and a DVD-R weren't in stock so they phoned me and got the shipment in two days, then shipped airmail for the inconvenience. Great customer service. They have the Leadtek 6800GT for $585 and the Chaintech 6800GT for $575. Hey, 25 bucks is 25 bucks. Best price in Canada right now. Also, they have a retail boxed X800Pro for $533 Cdn.

My xfx 6800gt has been great for me, the software was kind of crappy though. Didnt even bother installing any of the games.

I have one. It clocks up to 419/1.16 but I have it a bit lower to be safe. As with all things overclocking, YMMV.

I don't really care about warranty most of the time, as I've never had to RMA anything...so it's not a big deal to me. Hence, I can't answer your question about warranty.
