Yes, probably from a video capture card I'm guessing. He can still put up the MPEG2 file if he wants, but it's kind of useless with Clinton walking off the stage while he still bables on for another quarter-minute.

I've tried, the problem isn't just that the video/audio may be too fast/slow, but when I try to cut down the frame rate for example, to slow it down and keep pace with the audio, I can get the end to sync up, but the beginning is now out of sync.

yeah. The guy is charismatic. I have serious issues with both candidates (I'm not trying to start a flame or argue issues..), so I take anyone's complete edorsement of either with a grain of salt, but he can really sell anything. I've forgotten how good a public speaker Clinton can be.

yea i use powervcr 2 and when i use vdub to try to reencode..it goes outa sync. the oriignal isn't outa sync though. vidomi works though i think

That's due to the stream type(DVD vs. Program), but it isn't just out of sync in Vdub, it's completely out of sync; I can't even play the file normally in sync.
