I've talked to people that use something called the "cyclone rake" and they said it doesn't have enough suction to get more than a few acorns.

Ride over them with a lawnmower and chop them into nothing.

Have you ever mowed? Do you know how small an acorn is?

I've got a mower with a five foot deck. That sucker will pick 'em up off the ground and chop them almost into dust. I have an oak tree in my yard that easily drops over a ton of acorns every year and that's how I deal with them. And yes, it is a big a$$ tree with a trunk circumference of over 18 feet.

I have a John Deere with a 5' deck and the blades miss the acorns. The acorns are below the mower deck cutting height--2.5", in my case.

How short do you cut your lawn?
