i dont know why you would want one when you have a real one already. :p

seems like the people that get this are the ones that dont want to ride a real motorcycle. ;)

bR, peg them with a paintball. Thats what happened in my neighborhood. Those punks don't ride down that street no more.

Yea, they look kinda cool, except when a real motorcycle pulls up next to them.

The cops in my town issue tickets to parents for letting their kids ride them on the street. Stupid parents.

when i was 10 i lived in an area called Lake Holiday in IL. The kids were allowed to ride mini-bikes, quads, and go-carts on the street. It was great!

Naa, you just snipe em from somewhere. I don't even know who pegged those idiots, even though they were basically in front of my house when it happened.

That, or borrow a friend's car, stop in the street, peg em, then drive off.

When you were 10, kids were not as bratty as they are now, getting whatever the hell they want. I would never dream of rising one on the street, for fear I would get my ass whooped by a parent somewhere. And I am only 24.

I went into a Pepboys to get a set of rotors for my zuk, and all the kids were crawling all over the things, some riding them up and down the isles. WTF man? What is with parents. I was so close to clotheslineing one kid as he went by on an electric scooter, screaming his head off for me to "get the fvck out of his way" WTF. Bratty kid, raised wrong by his parents. And WTF was with the employees letting them do it?

So, I think the scooters and bikes are a bad idea uinless the kid is raised right, and uses it correctly, and when it is safe to do so. Not in a store, or out in the street where I have to look every which way. because now, not only can a kid jump out in the street to get a ball, but now they are motorized, and faster than ever. Of course, it would still be my fault for running a kid over when he comes out between 2 houses at 20mph into the street where I promptly run him into the ground.

i'm on a handful of motorcycle message boards and a bunch of people have purchased those. The bikes are garbage...rebadged by several manufacturers (including APC). Don't buy them if you don't want to lose your money.

the ones being sold are cheap chinese knockoffs.. they retail about 300.. they are slow.. the real ones go about 1000-2000 dollars.

We had a picnic today, a family picnic, and there were a few ppl with these bikes.. giving rides and all. Atleast they wore bicycle helmets and were riding in teh bike lanes of balboa park.

I wouldnt mind getting one but its no use to me, i rather use the real thing, my gs500.

i work at a custom motorcycle shop.... back around november and december we got those in and some of the chopper looking ones... they were kool and we sold a ton because people were buying them for their kids.

we kept a few around thru the end of winter and when spring came all the hood rats bought them... well wasnt long before they tried to ride them in the streets and sidewalks in the city and the cops were taking them left and right

the other thing is they are JUST A TOY

if you fall and break something on it, its a weedwacker motor, so don't expect to do a motor rebuild

and they are imported into the us from china 95% pre-assembled, and parts are not available, so if you crash and break something, you just wasted a few hundred bux

the alternative is to get a real pocket bike, like a blatta, but they start at $2000 - but can be modded to go over 70!

id suggest just buying a honda xr 50 (now called the crf50) and putting a handlebar kit and exhaust on em
