0.7 mm is very thick for mech pencil. Back in the stone age when mech pencils were popular, I never bought anything thicker than 0.5 mm.

From my experience with mech pencils, 0.5mm was too sharp on some surfaces and made holes in them, also a bit fragile, as i press down pretty hard. and Generally my writting looks neater with 0.7mm. i feel like i have more controll
