I have the Chieftec Black 1030 that is suppossed to be like the Antec. For some reason, the door will not close. I can get the top part to close, but the lower half of the door just does not want to go in. Any help?

No problem with my Chieftec case and door,I normally put the bottom part in first and the top part of the door last, btw if you removed the front covers where the bays and bottom air vents are etc ,check it`s all put back & seated right.

Nope, didn't take anything out. This sucks, I know it should be working b/c it came fine, and now it won't go. For some reason it looks like the plastic clip just won't click when it gets in there, and it just pops right off. I have to lock if just to keep it on, and even then it is resistant.

Is the lock pointing in the right direction?

Yeah, I checked to make sure it wasn't the lock. It came unlocked, and I tried to close it then and it wouldn't close. Then I tried it when it was locked and it obviously would not close. The door closes, it just doesn't have that "click", and thus pops out and becomes open. Thanks though, I appreciate it both your guys help.

Hmmm on mine I`ve two clip type latches, one above the keylock and the other about 2" from the top of the door, are they going into those slots when you close it? Mine do.

On this one there is only one latch, and a space for that latch. What I noticed was that the two were not lining up correctly, and I'd have to push out to get the case to close. Even then it would not stay, and pops right off. I think it might be time to RMA it. I know it's not that important, but I should get what I pay for right?

Try removing the front bezel and see if the door will close properly. Both of my Chieftech (Antec SX1303 clones) cases only have a single plastic clip on the door, located on the middle edge, that holds the door shut.

Yes, it does close properly when I remove the front bezel. So it's not teh clip, but rather there must be something blocking the clips way in the front. Hmm...wonder if this is fixable.
