just an over priced high color temperature lamp.
weirdo bulb type harder to replace.
you can buy a cf higher temp light anywhere these days for cheap😛
plus its ugly.
too much light from a desk lamp single source is bad anyways. spot of glare
 
They really do! I have several down in my dungeon. I use them to give the illusion of hope. Sunlight, I have found, tends to give my slaves the idea that they have some chance of escape, thus, they begin working together to find a way out. Of course there is no way out, but still, it's amusing to watch them try to claw their way out of hopeless situation. It's better than reality TV. Everyone knows this.
