anyone have their nostril cauterized?

All this talk about cuaterizing noses and nosebleeds is giving me the heebiejeebies.

I had nosebleeds every night while I was sleeping a few months ago. My doc recommended that Ayr crap and it worked after about 2-3 weeks of usage. I stopped using it now. BTW I'm 28.

The main thing that turned me off when he suggested cauterizing was that there is a chance to lose smell/taste

Ha! I am far from a nerd. My major nose bleeds ended after I took alergy shots. The last time I had to seek medical help I was like 7. I may get one a few times a year now, but they stop quick. Back when I was like five it would literally squirt out each nostril as my heart beat.
