I'm considering purchasing a Xigmatek Elysium case for a home server build. It generally seems to get high marks, but I'll need to install several Icy Dock hot swap cages and I've read one review stating it was very hard to do in this case. Any feedback?
My current server case is an Aerocool Masstige (great case) and when I installed Icy Dock cages in it several years ago, I did have to modify the metal cages (I bent some metal tabs) to accommodate the cages. I see Icy Dock has some new models of drive cages where the cage brackets only occupy a single 5.25" bay so that should make it much easier, but I don't believe they have a new model of the 5 x 3 cage yet.
