I found one about an hour and a half away for $200. The guy is moving and getting rid of everything, a google search shows this to be a 7-800 dollar grill. He said it has stayed under his carport and it looks good in the pics. Is there anything I should check?

They are incredible grills. Mine is 5 years old and has just been under a canvas cover for most of it. Still works great, even the igniter still works fine after all that time and a ton of use. Well worth the $200. Anything you need Weber will have parts for.

If it's the base E330 it's going to have standard burners, flavor bars and cast iron grates. Those might need to be replaced. Only the SE and "S" models had stainless parts. Everything else is aluminum and/or durable and not prone to rotting/rusting/crapping out.

I have the SS version of that. nice grill. Weber makes parts forever pretty much and the prices are reasonable.

I think I will make the drive, I have been wanting a new grill anyway and I will never buy a big box store brand again.

We went the other way. We'd had the lowest end Weber for many years. It was a fine grill though we did have to replace the diffuser plates a few times and the grates once. We probably got 10 or 12 years out of it. The starter did die early in its life.

When we went to replace it, it was basically going to be $500 (my wife wasn't interested in the $400 model). For $200, HD had a stainless, much nicer (looking) grill. The Weber "equivalent" would have been 4x that much. I figured if we get 5 years out of it we're ahead of the game assuming it was even decent. So far it's been great, once I realized that it has well over twice the BTU capability of the old one, so I have to use just a single burner most of the time and keep the heat lower than on the Weber. The grilled chicken that I've pulled off it has turned out better than anything I was able to do on the Weber, just absolutely perfect. I'm sure the overall quality won't be what the Weber was but everything is replaceable just like it was on the old grill.

I was about to head out and called to verify the legs would come off and he doesn't think so. That would be the only way I could get it in my CRV, this sucks. I have some Kilpsxh Pro Media computer speakers and some Kilpsch towers lined up in that area
