Anyone have the Verizon Chocolate phone?

My GF and I are about to get a new phone tonight. We share a verizon plan. She is pretty dead set on the chocolate from the looks alone. It's only going to cost like $30 out of our pocket so that's not bad at all.

I plan on getting the free phone that they give if you purchase the Chocolate, which is the V325i, but I am kinda of curious about the Chocolate as well now that I saw it in person and it's a slick looking phone.

So to anyone who has one or has used one, what do you like/dislike about it?

My friend has one, I actually was thinking of getting it because my phone is on the fritz.. my initial impressions are that the buttons are really hard to figure out touch wise, way too sensitive or not enough sometimes, and the end call button is on the side of the phone which is retarded. His battery doesn't last nearly as long as my motorola e815.

My wife has the Chocolate and after using it for some time and adjusting the sensitivity settings on the buttons it is quite nice. I actually like it more than my Razr. Plus her getting the Chocolate and 2gb memory card meant that I got my ipod back. 🙂

what do you like so much about the chocolate? And does the sliding phone thing get annoying? I just like flip phones in general, not sure I would like one that slides like the chocolate.

The slide phone really doesn't bother me and if I had one I think I would have no problem adjusting to it. As for what I like about the Chocolate, the features. The mp3 player is a great feature as well as the ability to add memory (microSD).

yah see my GF and I both already have an mp3 player so those features aren't that great. The main thing i DO like about it is the freaking camcorder. It would be great to have a camcorder in your pocket whenever you want, regardless of the quality of it.

i did see some other cheaper, flip phones, that have video cameras on them though.

I tried my friend's and the touch sensitivity just isn't for me. Sometimes it would be too sensitive, other times it seems as though I have to really grope it to have it actually do anything. As for the features, I'm not too particular about slide phones and I didn't really get to fiddle with the MP3 portion of it. My LG VX8300 works fine for me as a free phone. Only gripe I have with it is that the MP3 player would turn on sometimes when it's in my pockets because I lean on it and the play button is pressed down long enough for it to play music (I have it on silent so I don't know it's on).
