Anyone have the Moto Q?

I saw this in person and it looks thin enough to put in my pocket w/o feeling awkward. For those who have it, can you share your experiences with it? I'm especially interested in the available data plans. How fast do they offer now?

only problem i've had while checking one out...is that it doesn' have a touch screen...its a biatch to do everything with the scroll wheel...

I thought about the Q back in May or June but ended up getting the 700w. It is bigger but it's a PPC vs a Smartphone. I've heard alot of people that are happy w the Q but I wanted something that does a little bit more. I have the unlimited data plan w 1350 minutes for $110/mo on VZW. If you get a combo plan vs bolting on data to a minutes plan you'll save $10 but the only minute options w the combo or 450 or 1350 nothing in between. EVDO is pretty fast, I'm using my phone as a modem right now attached to my laptop. I have a torrent running in the background pulling down at 37KB/s and uploading at 15. I pulled down a file the other day from a website that averaged about 100KB/s. When I connect to Orb and it does the speed test I typically get 700-800kb/s (little b) and 100-200kb/s upload. YMMV based on where you are. I've been places where I only get a 1x signal and browsing was painfully slow...worse than 56k.

Very true...this was another dealbreaker for me. Some prefer the wheel but I def wanted a touch screen.

I played with one at the local Verizon kiosk a few times. The screen is too small/smooshed for me. And like others said, no touchscreen. Otherwise nifty

crackberry doesnt have touch screen. it seems to be hit with everyone.

yep, it's has blackberrys as it's target.
