Adobe killed flash years ago but I just ran into an admin interface for a rectifier shelf that requires Macromedia Flash, which is quite annoying. I'm not going to download a random install file by googling for this, so wondering if someone here happens to have this installer handy by chance? I will trust that more than a random google search. I presume whatever was the latest version is going to work. The firmware of the device is from 2010, so technically any version around then should work. I am hoping I can find an updated firmware that does not require flash since this is going to suck if I need to use a Windows VM just to access this thing.

So I managed to get in with an old XP laptop. Considering the hoops I will need to jump through to get to this though I think I will just consider that interface non existent. I discovered that it also has a Telnet interface so I'll just use that.

I found a similar emulator for Firefox but it didn't work. The web interface most likely does a specific check and probably looks for macromedia flash specifically. Although if the check involves something to do with the HTTP headers sent by the browser such as user agent and other strings, maybe it would be possible to trick it?

I asked the company about the possibility of getting a firmware upgrade so I'll see what they say. I just bought it used on ebay and not an actual customer so not sure if they'll actually help me but worth a shot. It looks like you need to install some kind of desktop software on a windows PC to manage it further and do firmware upgrade as even the web interface doesn't seem to have a way to upgrade the firmware. The entire web interface is literally a flash application. No idea why they coded it that way, that must have been a pita to maintain.

Worse case scenario I'll stick to using the telnet interface though, I even found documentation for it. There are certain parameters I need to be able to set such as the float voltage, equalize voltage/times, alarm points etc and it does look like all that stuff is configurable through telnet. In fact I may not even bother with the alarm contacts since I can just script my alarms through telnet.

Download it from a capture of Adobe's website/server on Archive.org (July 2014 was earliest I could find that actually worked). Scroll to the bottom there are download links for Flash Player 13 plug-in on Internet Explorer and another for 'other browsers'.
