i just saw GA-8IGX at www.newegg.com... that's a good news if you live in continental U.S. like you, i'm waiting for review before i buy this mobo.

new egg doesn't have the GI-8GXP or the GI-8GX, they only have the GI-8G so I'm waiting for the GXP to come out or even the GI-8GX first. but yes the singapore store does have it.

The GXP still exists, fear not. Here is the official link on Gigabyte's webpage, although it can not be accessed through any of their other webpages.

Just downloaded the manual from Gigabyte's website for the GA-8IG. Unless the actual board has more options than the manual suggests it doesn't have very good OC features. For example I only saw 2 possible memory ratios. What do you guys think. BG-7 or GA-8IG?
